You’re invited to make a difference…as a full-time Senior Agricultural Lending Manager in our Head Office

At Kindred Credit Union, you will be part of cooperative banking that connects values and faith with finances, inspiring peaceful, just, and prosperous communities.

Kindred Credit Union has supported the agricultural sector since our founding almost 60 years ago, partnering with the farming community and broader ag businesses to provide access to credit and sound financial and business advice. In this role you will help manage Kindred’s strong Agricultural credit business by shaping policy, new products, assess complex credits, and coach and mentor other lenders. The role-holder helps ensure Kindred maintains and develops the right credit expertise and practices to serve our agricultural members, grow our business, and manage our substantial and growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjudicates applications for agricultural credit
  • Ensures pricing on credits reflects risk
  • Provides advice, coaching, and resources to build capabilities of lending staff in the area of agricultural lending
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Agricultural and Commercial credit process, policies, practices, and product enhancements

Your practical insights and sound judgment will help Kindred grow its business while maintaining an acceptable level of risk across Kindred’s loan portfolio. You will lead initiatives to share your expertise with those around you, to develop Kindred’s services and parameters for credit.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:


  • University/College graduate in business, agriculture, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of agricultural products and services
  • 6-8 years of lending experience, with solid ag sector knowledge
  • Proven quality of credit analysis and sound judgement and decision-making
  • Interest and demonstrated aptitude in mentoring, coaching and training
