Quorum is looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team who will work closely with the Manager, Finance Operations to review, analyze, and report business transactions for the use of Divisional Financial Statements. In addition, the Senior Accountant will take ownership of the ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of all accounting tasks.

Here is what we will expect from you at work:

Complete month end procedures to ensure all accounting entries posted properly, includes preparing working papers for General Ledgers accounts.

Prepare and maintain continuity schedules for balance sheet accounts.

Prepare various analyses for revenue and expenses and explain any variances.

Review and assure all monthly revenue are completed and accurately recorded.

Ensure Compliance with Sales Taxes, includes reporting and filing.

Prepare monthly data reports for outside vendors and/or customers.

Assist Manager, Finance Operations with the creation of new processes to increase efficiency in recording and reporting business activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting designation is considered an asset.

3-5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial and/or cost accounting.

An ability to learn new processes and applications quickly and efficiently.

A talent for efficiently handling tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills; detail oriented and highly accurate.

Strong communication skills- both verbal and written.

Additional Requirements
