Job Title: Tactical Security Guard

Location: Thompson, Manitoba

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Our growing company is seeking diligent and qualified Tactical Security Guards to join our team in Thompson, Manitoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and the public. The role requires high-level situational awareness and a proactive approach to threat prevention.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a high level of visibility to deter criminal activity and conduct patrols of assigned areas on foot or by vehicle

- Detect and respond to potential security threats promptly and effectively while adhering to established protocols and procedures

- Monitor and control access points to the property

- Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents and activity reports

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests

- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies when necessary

- Use force, if necessary, to protect oneself or others and to maintain order

Requirements:

- Valid Provincial Security Guard License

- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent

- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

- Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties requiring standing, walking, and running for extended periods of time

- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Previous security or military experience is an asset

Work Location: In person
