Jardeg is hiring Scaffolder Apprentices to join our Shell Scotford project team on site near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, for the 2022 Turnaround.


As a Scaffolder Apprentice, you will:

  • Provide safe and secure scaffold access.
  • Assemble, dismantle, modify system and tube and clamp scaffolds.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met
  • Thorough knowledge of scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
  • Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
  • Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
  • Knowledge of isometric drawings an assetSupporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer
  • Prioritizing daily workload with managing materials efficiently


Minimum Reqiurements

  • Proof of hours (up to 1600 +)
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
  • OSSA or Energy Safety Canada certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • OSSA or Energy Safety Canada certified Confined Space
