Jardeg is hiring Scaffolder Apprentices (2nd and 3rd Year) to join our NOVA project team on site near Red Deer, Alberta.

This is a full-time temporary position on 4 days on, 3 days off shift schedule.

A Living Out Allowance is provided.


Scaffolders provide safe and secure scaffold access. Scaffolders assemble, dismantle, modify system and tube and clamp scaffolds.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met
  • Demonstrate safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
  • Begin to understand assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
  • Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Prioritize daily workload and manage materials efficiently

Minimum Requirements

  • Scaffolding Apprenticeship or Proof of hours upon request
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)/ CSTS-2020 Energy Safety Canada Certified
  • Confined Space EntryEnergy Safety Canada Certified
  • Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred
  • Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities
