We are looking to increase the size of the team in our efforts to increase business dealings with local property companies while expanding our supply of public transit glazing products to new markets.

Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in office management, marketing, advertising, and sales? Do you possess excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Office/Marketing Manager!

About Us: New Glass Industries Ltd. has been repairing and installing residential and commercial glass since 1982. Located in Calgary, we do sealed unit replacements, repair screens, mirrors, aluminum storefronts, glass railings, heavy glass doors, etc. We have quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our daily operations and contributing to our marketing, advertising, and sales strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services.
• Establish distribution networks for products and services, initiate market research studies and analyze their findings, assist in product development, and direct and evaluate the marketing strategies of establishments.
• Efficiently managing office operations and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling content for various platforms.
• Monitoring advertising initiatives and assessing their effectiveness.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Leveraging your proficiency in WeChat App for work communication and networking.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the team to ensure successful project execution.
• Analyzing market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management, marketing, advertising, or sales.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales or marketing.
• Proficiency in the use of WeChat App for work-related communication.
• Proven track record of success in marketing, advertising, and sales.
• Wholesale experience – from concept/research to production to the consumer.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates that have previously dealt with real estate developers and/or have an understanding of the construction industry would be preferred.
• Experience collaborating with government entities is a bonus.
