We are seeking an Account Executive to cover the higher education market within a sales region in our North American market. . Responsibilities include achieving sales quotas and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing all aspects of the sales cycle and collaborating with other team members (marketing, sales engineering, etc.). The Account Executive is part of a sales and client success team that is made up of an Account Manager, Sales Development Representative, and Client Success Manager. Together this team is responsible for driving new logo business, renewal and growth of the existing business in a specific geographic region.

We are looking for experienced, successful candidates with a proven track record selling SaaS solutions and knowledge of the higher education sector.

What you will do as our new

  • Delivery, management, and scalability of onboarding / continuous learning programs for our sales functions (AE/AM and SDR’s)
  • Uses an array of tools to produce a variety of materials that promote learning through self-study, practice, and performance support to decrease ramp time and increase the effectiveness of a global team
  • Coach and mentor new hires throughout their onboarding and foster a data-driven coaching culture in partnership with leadership
  • Implement new processes and tools to increase the efficiency of our global Sales teams while removing as many obstacles as possible from their current workflow
  • Develop and curate all content for our sales team, including playbooks, training, marketing, and product material, to ensure that all information is easily and readily available
  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to translate their knowledge into effective learning experiences for our sales-facing teams
  • Create and implement ongoing Sales onboarding and ever-boarding certification programs
  • Leverages rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create learning for a rapidly changing environment

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in an enablement function with demonstrated ability to onboard, transfer skills, and coach new hires while driving learner engagement
  • 1-2+ years experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager seller with a strong understanding of what it means to be in a sales role to drive revenue and understands pain points that can be alleviated is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in business, education, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and processes to increase revenue
  • Experience working in a fast-paced global SaaS company or delivery of global training programs
  • Proven project and time management skills in an environment where you may be contributing to several projects simultaneously; maintain and regularly update multiple project schedules
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; (additional languages a plus) ability to quickly build solid partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to achieve outcomes
  • Availability to support multiple time zones
