We’re looking for an enthusiastic, business development minded Sales Consultant with a passion for all things fashion, hair + beauty. Our industry, our brands and the individuals we work with are fashion forward, exciting and fun. Having talented stylists as our target audience allows for a workplace promoting creative freedom and expression. In summary, this role is about helping salons build their biz with your brains and fun personality!

Summit Salon Services is a Canadian based distributor bursting with personality and obsessed with all thing’s hair + beauty. We supply professional beauty, salon, esthetic + spa supplies across Western Canada and offer elite business consulting services to industry professionals. With over 20 years of operating experience, our Summit Fam continues to grow and expand. But don’t worry, we maintain a small business mentality as a family-run and tight-knit team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Deliver impeccable customer service to maintain and build long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients
• Prospect and identify new leads to grow and diversify your territory
• Proactively learn about client objectives and challenges and offer a consultative approach to help client’s grow their business
• Set and achieve target goals; conquer milestones and help us accomplish company goals, all while accomplishing your own
• Develop a deep understanding of the business and stay up-to-date on new trends, product knowledge and opportunities
• Specialize in product knowledge and deliver training by conducting presentations/demonstrations of products to new and existing clients to grow sales and build brand loyalty

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Superior customer service and communication skills (written + verbal)
• Plenty of confidence and a positive + goal oriented attitude
• Analytical, strategic and entrepreneur mindset; not afraid to find unique approaches to hit your targets or to break ground on new relationships
• Ability to adapt to an ever changing and fast paced environment
• Always one-step ahead of the game and a willingness to always be learning about the rapidly changing hair + beauty industry and products
• Comfortable navigating social media platforms
• Motivated to work independently, but also a team player
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the hair + beauty industry
• Stylist and/or esthetician experience is a huge bonus!
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $26,937.00-$124,904.00 per year
