The Ideal Candidate(s) Is/Are Able To:

The purpose of this position is to assist customers & troubleshoot any pool related problems without compromising on world class customer service. Full knowledge of all products sold in stores is an essential part of this position.

· Report directly to the Retail Store Manager and/or Assistant Retail Manager

· Selling of big-ticket items. Provide knowledge and information on high ticket products, while remaining up to date on product & industry trends and information

· Support a strong commitment to superior and genuine customer service by exerting compassion, knowledge and empathy to all customers and associates. Drive sales through engaging both customers and associates with accurate and practical product knowledge.

· Track special orders daily, and notify customers when those orders come in immediately after confirming

• Assist all customers on the retail floor, and answer any questions that are within your training, knowledge, and expertise. Help customers with large transactions, and parts questions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment free of clutter at all times.
• Help price, stock, and face merchandise on the sales floor and retail shelves daily, or as required by current stock levels or manager request
• Provide guidance and recommendations to customers based on their needs and concerns. Help troubleshoot any pool chemical related issues they might be having. Provide advice to service and solve their chemical related issues.

The position requires standing for a 1 – 10 hour period as well as lifting, pushing, or pulling

over 45 lbs. The duties are mainly performed indoors with minimal time spent outdoors.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, evening and

weekend shifts and hours are necessary.

Contract length: 6-7 months

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Commission pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
