We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for our client in Richmond. They are an electrical service company that works on commercial and construction sites around the Greater Vancouver area.

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of safety experience and a good understanding of safety regulations within the construction industry. Someone with a Trade Safety Coordinator (TSC) or a Construction Safety Officer (CSO) certification would be ideal.

This role will be a mix of office work, working from home, and visiting sites all around the lower mainland. You must have your driver’s license and a vehicle.

The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but limited to:

  • Assisting with the implementation and ongoing administration of the company’s Occupational Health and Safety program and policies
  • Investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidents
  • Completing job site safety inspections and monitoring issues
  • Developing safe work practices and procedures
  • Providing safety training
  • Reviewing and documenting safety forms
  • Assisting in the annual COR Audit
