MB Country Living is looking for a Warehouse Lead in Trainingfor our Canboroughlocation. You will learn to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the warehouse and all product that flows through it, in addition to providing best in class customer service at the loading dock and on the retail salesfloor. You Are:

-Physically fit – not only capable of lifting and moving 55lbs+ all day long, but you enjoy it!

-Attentive to detail – using the appropriate paperwork and WMS software to accurately document all product shipped out of and received in to the store.

-A problem solver –thinking critically and creatively, using logic to find the best solution in unusual or unexpected situations.

-Willing to learn something new every day –whether that be additional product or processes knowledge or remembering your customers’ names and needs.

-Organized – with excellent planning and time management skills.

-Straight shooter – able to communicate in a clear, open-minded manner with teammates and develop a strong working relationship with the Distribution Warehouse Lead.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service

-Maintain high level quality of presentation through cleanliness on the sales floor and in the warehouse

-Greet each customer promptly and with courtesy – hosting them primarily at the loading dock but also on the sales floor, at cash point, over the phone, or via e-mail as required

-Provide best in class customer service according to MB standards – build rapport with each guest, learn their names as well as those of their family & pets, consistently exceed their expectations

-Conclude each customer transaction with a load up at the warehouse dock or by providing a carry out of merchandise from the cashpoint as per MB customer service standard “We Load it For You"

Job Knowledge

-Plan and execute all warehouse activities – coordinating with the store manager to make best use of the team in order to accomplish all customer deliveries, receiving, and outward bound shipping while simultaneously ensuring cleanliness and rotation standards are upheld

-Actively work with product in the warehouse - able to lift and carry 55lbs without restriction, utilizing safe lifting techniques to rotate product stored both on the floor and at shoulder height within the racking

-Maximize selling opportunities through ordering, stocking, replenishing, rotating, cleaning, assembling, displaying (including price labelling) and merchandising as per MB guidelines

-Organize shipping and receiving logs in the system, taking responsibility for appropriate documentation of all inventory moving through the store and warehouse

-Execute cycle counts, standard equipment checks, expiry audits, and all other MB routines and processes including administrative/management duties as directed

-Ensure established policies and procedures are followed to minimize safety concerns and product loss due to inventory shrink, theft, expiry, etc

-Build and maintain a relationship with the attached Mill and Distribution Warehouse teams, communicating clearly and effectively to coordinate movement of product, support, and to address any day to day customer or company concerns

General Requirements

-Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory management is required

-Experience in customer service is an asset

-Responsible for earning CPR/First Aid and forklift certification

-Must be willing to work 50% of Saturdays (priority on April-May spring rush)
