We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to ensure that patrons have an enjoyable

dining experience by providing quality customer service from the moment they walk through the doors. Our

commitment to only serving the highest quality product to our guests ensures our reputation and success. The

goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience and the

server plays a pivotal role in representing the Casa Mia brand. The right person will be passionate about food

and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Educate our guests on the Casa Mia menu, brand, and specials
  • Give recommendations for food and drinks based on guest presences, wants, and needs
  • Take food and beverage orders from customers and ensure the guest’s needs are met and expectations

exceeded

  • Maintain familiarity with the composition of all menu items, including items available at the bar
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with Casa Mia standards, but above all in a professional, courteous

manner

  • Clean designated areas, in accordance with Casa Mia procedures, including opening and closing routines and

following hygiene requirements

  • Clean, refill, and stock condiments, side stations, and bar areas
  • Maintain impeccable table settings before, during, and after service periods
  • Set tables to company policy, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair;

glasses and flatware clean and polished

  • Ensure storerooms are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen and other established needs, be they

food or equipment

  • Clean tables and ensure they are cleaned as soon as it is apparent that customers have finished their food or

drink with an acceptable balance between speed while allowing customers to finish their meal without feeling

rushed

  • Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer in accordance

with the procedures of the establishment

  • At all times to be aware of and practice good customer service by assisting the guest in any way which does not

adversely affect other customers

  • Attend to customer complaints satisfactorily with or without the assistance of management
  • Proper adherence to all cash handling procedures
  • Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies
  • Answer phones and assist guests with product, event, and order inquiries
  • Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress
  • Attend meetings and training courses as required
  • Any other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift
    • Be professional and hospitable while promoting the Casa Mia brand
    • Give the guest suggestions & recommendations for food & drinks based on their wants and needs
    • Get to know regular guests’ preferences as well as identify opportunities to introduce guests to new offerings or

    • Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed
    • Collaborative in a team environment, focused on the success of the team not individual
