Our Story

Since our humble beginnings 30 years ago, CSFS has grown to almost 300 employees providing services to 11-member Nations. CSFS is mandated to establish a comprehensive infrastructure for social, health and legal programs, for the eventual take-over of these services, consistent with the Tribal Council’s objective of working towards Indian Self-Government. We deliver all services in accordance with our great law of sharing wealth set in our Bah’lats (potlatch) system.   • Design and undertake research and evaluation relevant to child welfare, social issues, public policy, Indigenous law-making
  • Prepare final research findings
  • Assist with defining community research priorities and supports community engagement activities

What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and paradigms with a focus on transformative models of application
  • 2 years’ experience working in a social service or health care environment supporting evaluation or research activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Evaluation, Public Policy, research-related sciences or social sciences discipline
