Responsibilities

The Renal Aide (Ward Aide) assists nursing staff in their care of patients and family. They work cooperatively and effectively with all members of the nursing team maintaining good communication. Reporting to the Unit Manager or delegate the Renal Aide completes their assignment under the direction of nursing staff. Other job related duties.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Ability to work in busy area and to adapt to frequent interruption in activities
  • Tactfulness and diplomacy in dealing with patients, visitors and co-workers
  • Maintains confidential information
  • Demonstrated physical ability to perform the duties of the position (bending, walking, lifting, etc.)
  • Good attendance and work record
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours of Work

Short Assignment, Full-Time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

Salary Information

$20.0924 - $21.9131 hourly
