Reliability Engineer

Port Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a Reliability Engineer at PHP, you will be responsible for managing the reliability program. You will identify and manage risks that affect asset reliability and business operations. You will use processes such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to assess failure modes to develop proactive, preventive and predictive maintenance activities to manage them. You will be responsible for managing the condition monitoring (vibration analysis, ultrasound etc.) and lubrication programs. You will assist with conducting technical failure analysis investigations as well as participating in root cause analysis of failures. Working closely with various groups, you will be an out-of-the-box thinker, constantly looking for continuous improvement opportunities while adhering to and promoting safe work practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree (PEng is preferred) with three or more years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or related industrial environment. Previous maintenance experience while leading and performing in a highly technical and production-oriented workplace is considered an asset.
