Your Opportunity:Description:As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high acuity, and unpredictable environment. Strong physical assessment, critical thinking, and decision making/problem solving skills. Well organized and proficient at prioritizing tasks. Proven written/oral communication skills. Demonstrated computer knowledge. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other members of the inter-professional team. Accountability for own professional practice.Preferred Qualifications:Three to 5 years of nursing experience in acute care. One to 2 years of recent Emergency and/or Critical Care experience. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, EPIC certification, and skill in cardiac monitoring. CNA Emergency Nursing certification. Experience with patient/family centered care and collaborative practice.
