    Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking a champion with significant management and leadership experience to join us on the Information and Technology Services team.

    The Regional Manager, IT Service Delivery is responsible for the development, implementation and adoption of new and existing Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Service Management processes and procedures in Northern Health (NH), including engagement and alignment with provincial counterparts and service providers. In addition, this position is responsible for the management of Service Coordination staff whose roles are to facilitate IM/IT engagement and use of the Service Management tools and processes, for the cohesive and consistent delivery of IM/IT Services.

    The Manager is also responsible for the implementation and management of the IM/IT Services Catalogue with the associated processes for Service Level Management. This position has responsibility for the planning and delivery of related training within the ITS team to increase the adoption and improvement of Service Management processes and procedures.

  • Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science plus five (5) to seven (7) years related experience in Information Technology, including experience with change management practices, process flow and methodology development, and two (2) years supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation Certificate; ITIL Managing Professional preferred.

  • Valid B.C. Class 5 Drivers license.


  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of business processes.

  • Broad knowledge of all ITIL Service Management processes.

  • Proven experience with Service Management practices, process flow and methodology development.

  • Ability to document IT processes and procedures in a user-friendly language.

  • Demonstrated commitment to organizational improvement and excellence.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, interpersonal and oral communication.

  • Ability to think logically and attend to detail.

  • Ability to work in a self-motivated and directed manner.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Service Management tools.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Ability to manage stress in a positive and productive manner.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Ability to physically perform the duties of the position.
