Working under the direction of the HR Manager you will:

• Provide Recruitment Services to all STC departments, ensuring that vacancies are filled within a timely manner.
• Support the delivery of STC human resource policies, practices and programs
• Receive, screen, and file incoming resumes, background and reference checks
• Facilitate community engagement events outside of business hours as required
• Coordinate recruitment events both on-site and off-site
• Strengthen relationships with existing community partnerships and expand network
• Maintain an open door policy for all and act as a liaison between employees and managers.
• Maintain confidential employee files, as well as the accuracy and integrity of human resource information systems
• Proposing and developing creative, HR solutions that make the job easier for all parties
• Any Ad Hoc duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled or completed an HR degree program
• 1-4 Years of recruitment experience would be considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of relevant job boards, recruitment strategies, and
• Fluent on Office and able to work on other software/website platforms
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Strong attention to detail
• A valid first aid certificate would be an asset
