JOB TITLE: Receptionist & Exam Timekeeper
REPORTS TO: Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Test Center
LOCATION: 180 Dundas St W Suite 301 Toronto, ON M5G 1C7 Canada
Pay Class: Part-Time (approx. 27 hours per week)

JOB OVERVIEW
The role of the Receptionist & Exam Timekeeper is critical to ensuring a welcoming experience for candidates taking the Objectively Structured Clinical Evaluation (OSCE) exam. In this role, you will greet incoming candidates, maintain fixed exam schedules, along with additional administrative functions as directed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Receptionist
  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
  • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner, including regular disinfection of all reception and waiting area surfaces at specific times throughout the day
  • Verify employee attendance and completion of employee screening
  • Conduct candidate reminder phone calls for all scheduled exams
  • Receive deliveries and direct to appropriate area of facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Exam Timekeeper
  • Maintains fixed examination schedule according to session type (i.e. standard or accommodation OSCE session)
  • Complies with all administrative requirements, including but not limited to, completion of forms, sign-in/sign-out procedures on each exam day
  • Demonstrates professional integrity by ensuring appropriate and considerate interactions with examination staff and candidates
  • Arrives on time and attends all assigned shifts
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
SKILLS
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
  • Punctual with strong attendance history
  • Strong phone skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
