About The Opportunity

The Radiation Therapist accurately and precisely prepares a cancer patient and their chart for administration of a course of radiation treatments. The Radiation Therapist will function as a key member of the Cancer Treatment Team. It is expected that the therapist will rotate through radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry and treatment delivery.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registration with Nova Scotia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • BCLS or CPR Certification
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant computer software programs.
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with patients, families and co-workers
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, on a consultative basis, within the health care team
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
