Tru Earth is excited to announce we are looking for a responsible and reliable Warehouse Manager to help us set up our new Ontario Facility! You will supervise daily activities of Mississauga warehouse, coordinate daily warehouse and operations activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing warehouse.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the Tru Earth Warehouse, operations and staff.
  • Operate a forklift / straddle stacker
  • Oversee and work in the receiving, warehousing, assembly and distribution operations.
  • Prepare outbound shipping documentation and book shipments.
  • Implement/improve standard operational policies and procedures, including Quality Management Program.
  • Implement and oversee security operations including opening, lock-up and security alarms.
  • Primary contact for security, maintenance, sublease communication.
  • Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment, including maintenance and servicing machines
  • Ensure safety of staff and correct implementation of Health & Safety protocol as per company manual.
  • Coordinate stock take and stock bin setup and upkeep.
  • Coordinate Quality Assurance practices in the Mississauga facility.
  • Implement and maintain inventory FEFO/FIFO methodology.
  • Purchasing of consumables and equipment spares specific to warehouse facility.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with Burnaby, BC warehouse facility.

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years roles in Warehouse Operations
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain systems and ERM software.
  • Must have a full understanding of KPIs
  • WHIMS Certified with detailed knowledge of Warehouse Occupational Health and Safety practices.
  • Cost Control and Purchasing.

  • Demonstrated ethical and professional behavior, including confidentiality.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with intellectual curiosity and personal drive.
  • Exceptional strong negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to clearly identify strategic issues and make tough decisions
  • Focus on safety and first aid. First Aid aid level 1 or higher will be beneficial.
