Job Description

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB (98K9) is seeking versatile Class 1 or 3 Operators to join our Suncor Regional Support Team! As part of our team, you’ll operate Pressure trucks, Combo, Hydrovac, Vac, Water, Steamer, and Dry Ice Blasting equipment, catering to dynamic business needs within Suncor.

This is a 362 Teamsters Union Position.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate Pressure Truck, Combo, Hydro Vac, Vacuum, Water Truck, Steamer, and Dry Ice Blasting units.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment readiness.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, including with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with the ability to operate 18-speed manual transmission;
  • Previous experience operating Combo, Hydro Vac, Steamer, Pressure Truck, or Dry Ice Blasting equipment preferred;
  • Oilfield experience is essential;
  • Ability to be versatile, operate various units and able to adapt to moving to various sites as required;
  • Possess valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO/CSTS certificates (training provided).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended period
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
