We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Team Lead, IT Operationsto join our IT team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, you will lead the 24/7 IT operations team that supports IT infrastructure. Participating as a member of a strategically driven, cohesive team; reflecting team spirit that inspires and motivates exceptional performance. You will foster and promote an environment that is focused on continuous improvement and PSP – People, Service and Profit.

This position will require after-hours support to ensure a seamless operation. The successful candidate must be available by phone during these times to address urgent issues and provide support when needed.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the IT Operations team responsible for 24/7 support of our business and technology solutions, monitoring and investigating a production environment for faults, outages, and security incidents.
• Collaborating with internal IT teams and vendor partners to resolve incidents and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
• Setting team goals using defined KPIs and ensuring an appropriate understanding of business goals to effectively prioritize incidents, requests, and tasks.
• Defining and supporting processes for problem and incident management.
• Defining, creating and updating support documentation.
• Working with IT groups to ensure proper project transitioning to support, including training, and support documentation.
• Identifying opportunities for skills development within the team.
• Managing communications and expectations of support requests with stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to automate support requests and tasks.
  

You have:

• A post-secondary technical diploma in Information Systems, IT infrastructure or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure implementations with a broad range of exposure to IT support best practices.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience implementing ITIL and ITSM best practices.
• Experience with enterprise directory platforms such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and LDAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft windows servers.
• Knowledge of Cloud technology and architecture is an asset.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell is an asset.
• The ability to respond to and handle phone calls during non-business hours when necessary.

This position is based at the Pattison Food Group office in Langley, B.C. While we’re currently operating with a hybrid work-from-home and in-office schedule, we look forward to the day when we are all able to work together in the office again.

Compensation Details:

$79,950.00 - $99,938.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
