Our client is a leading engineering firm that designs specialized products for clients around the world. They are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the shipping department. This individual will work closely with the production and purchasing teams to ensure a smooth transition from manufacturing to shipping.

- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders on inventory related matters, including monthly reporting on inventory evaluation analysis and recommendations highlighting any areas of concern
- Develop, manage, and execute cross-functional process improvement projects to impact inventory management practices, processes, and metrics
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels based upon sales forecasts, production plans, and other relevant information
- Sustain and improve inventory turns and financial levels to ensure controls and strong performance
- Oversee inventory control cycle counts and ensure the overall physical inventory accuracy
- Previous experience in Supply Chain Management with in depth experience in inventory control management in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Experience in MRP
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team building and communication abilities
