Successful applicants will work on brand new equipment in a safe, modern, clean, and well-lit facility. Most of the work is organizing logistics for customers’ units to be delivered and loading of our large agriculture equipment onto trailers for shipment. General final assembly and duties might be required. This is NOTa boring assembly-line-style position.

NOTE:

• This position requires regular sliding/moving/lifting pieces of steel up to 50 pounds.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read, understand, and follow working drawings.
• Basic assembly and disassembly are required.
• Operating overhead cranes.
• Organizing logistics for customers units to be delivered.
• Loading of our large agriculture equipment onto trailers.
• Weekly cleaning of factory/yard with industrial sweeper.
• Work safely and accurately while following a strict schedule.

• Help receive goods, raw materials (mainly steel), and full/partial assemblies.
• Ensure item quantities on customers invoices are accurate prior to shipping.
• Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard.

• Assist various departments as needed.

• Keep yard and shops organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Must have a valid class 5 BC drivers’ license.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work in Mission, BC.

• Must have a minimum of 1-year forklift experience.
• Current class 5 forklift certificate preferred.
• Must be highly organized and a self-starter.
• Basic math, measurement skills are required for this position.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
• Must be able to work occasional weekends/overtime as required by workload.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb ladders.
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below the waist.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. with assistance.

Wages depend on experience and abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
