Senior Software Engineer, Quadient
Location:Toronto

The Senior Software Engineer, Quadient is responsible for driving the development, troubleshooting, and assisting of users with complex insurance systems software/hardware designed with Quadient capabilities. The Sr. Software Engineer, Quadient has an expert-level knowledge and understanding, which allows them to ensure the team’s production of scalable, robust IT solutions which satisfy business and technical goals.

You’re great at:

• Experience in the following technologies:
  • Inspire Designer Suite – design and implementation skills
  • Inspire Interactive
  • Microsoft SharePoint is an asset
  • Proven experience in the .NET Framework including ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Windows Services, and C#
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of JavaScript
  • Experience in database development using SQL Server
  • Experience with internet Information Server (IIS)
• Strong experience with coaching/mentoring junior team members
• Experience in Application Lifecycle Management, including the use of ADO
• Strong knowledge and experience with Inspire Scaler is an asset
• Strong experience with Windows Administration is an asset
• Strong knowledge of current best practices in application architecture such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Software Version Control, and Design Patterns
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite of Products (including Outlook) and Windows environment
• SDLC using Agile (Scrum & Kanban) approach
• Exceptional ability to help develop and execute test case
• Exceptional professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Exceptional ability to Multitask and manage priorities and day to day schedule and work items

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience.
• 8-10+ years’ experience with Quadient product lines.
• 8-10+ years’ experience in software engineering or related field.
