Overview Of The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cyber Security Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice on cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Cyber Security Advisor will work closely with our clients to assess their cybersecurity posture, develop effective security strategies, and recommend appropriate security solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing In The Role

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments and audits for clients to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect clients’ digital assets.
• Provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement security awareness and training programs for their employees.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure that cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the design and development of new products and services.
  
  

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in cyber security in health sector with a focus on technical security architecture.
• Minimum 5-10 years working in information security or IT security
• Working knowledge and experience of cyber security framework and industry standards, such as NIST CSF, NIST 800- 53, CIS, ISO27000 and Payment Card Industry regulations (PCI DSS).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as HIPAA, HiTrust, NIST, CIS, Cloud Security Alliance, etc.
• Knowledge of network and database architecture
• Experience with security standards such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA, ITIL, ISO27001 /2 or equivalent designation(s) is considered an asset.
• Excellent Client communication skills.
