Senior Logistics Analyst

Reporting to the Logistics Program Manager, the Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing and presenting data in support of daily operations and projects within the Logistics department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in gaining insight on existing processes and recommending approaches to improve performance. The candidate will be equally involved in new projects and aid in the design phase including defining and ensuring data requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Create, and maintain reports for the Logistics department in order to evaluate internal and 3rd party performance with an aim to reduce costs and improve operational processes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect data in support of mandated analyses
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards for the Logistics and Warehouse departments
• Gather business needs and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects
• Act as a liaison between the Logistics team and the Technology team for project requirements
• Champion the execution and implementation of projects as part of the logistics roadmap
• Suggest thoughtful methodology to analyze business requirements within a project
• Analyze, document and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the logistics lanes
• Participate in gap analysis exercises to identify and document any changes to bring to the process
• Implement the new processes within the operational department by working with various types of users

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or Information Technology
• Master’s degree or MBA, a strong asset
• A minimum of 6 years experience in business analysis, data analysis or project management
• Experience in a technology-driven environment
• Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent skills with analytics tools (SAS, R, Python...)
• Experience with SQL and databases (MySQL, Oracle, …)
• Knowledge of process mapping software (Lucidchart, Visio, …)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
