Senior Logistics Analyst

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing data and requirements to support various projects for the Logistics department. The ideal candidate will compile and analyze reports, define project requirements, and optimize business rules, while improving operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, compile and maintain reports for the logistics department to evaluate partner performances, optimize costs and business rules, and improve operational processes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect data required for the logistics reports and analyses
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards for the Logistics and Warehouse departments
• Gather business needs and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects
• Act as a liaison between the Logistics team and the Technology team for project requirements
• Champion the execution and implementation of projects as part of the logistics roadmap
• Suggest thoughtful methodology to analyze business requirements within a project
• Analyze, document and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the logistics lanes
• Participate in gap analysis exercises to identify and document any changes to bring to the process
• Implement the new processes within the operational department by working with various types of users

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or Information Technology
• Master’s degree or MBA, a strong asset
• A minimum of 8 years experience in business analysis, data analysis or project management
• Experience in a technology-driven environment
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent skills with analytics tools (SAS, R, Python...)
• Experience with SQL and databases (MySQL, Oracle, …)
• Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Knowledge of process mapping software (Lucidchart, Visio, …)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
