Background
Department of Health – Innovation and eHealth Branch requires the services of a Senior Business Analyst (SBA3) to support the implementation of the eReferral project. This work will include, but is not limited to, documenting new business processes and program workflows, developing training / reference guides and training tools, as well as communications to support the rollout of the eReferral program.
The Senior Business Analyst will also be required to work closely with Subject Matter Experts from various lines of business to ensure alignment of the eReferral solution.
This statement of work outlines the scope of work, activities and evaluation process for this resource.
THE DEPARTMENT will only consider proposals identifying one candidate to fill the requested role. If bidding multiple candidates, they MUST be submitted as separate proposals.
Mandatory Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst including requirements gathering, facilitation, use case analysis and detailed design activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in a business analyst role in eHealth in a Canadian jurisdiction related to both project and operations work. Please provide examples of projects/operations related work. - 2+ years
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions with diversified groups of Subject Matter Experts/stakeholders resulting in clear and concise business requirements. - 5+ years
- Demonstrated experience in documenting workflow / business processes / user stories. - 5+ years
- Demonstrated experience in defining and documenting Standard Operating Procedures, Training guides and tools. - 5+ years
- Demonstrated experience in the development of communication to diverse stakeholder groups in support of significant changes to existing business processes or the introduction of new business processes. - 5+ years
- 10 years of IM/IT experience. - 10+ years
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of stakeholder engagement sessions verbally, in both English and French; N/A
- Familiarity with security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy as it relates to NB’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA); N/A
