We are currently seeking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting the business requirements and then ensuring that the deliverables produced by the development effort conform to the business requirements.
  • Beyond the facilitation of the up-front business requirements and system requirements gathering sessions and resulting documentation, the role also involves driving the system functional testing and user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results as well as taking responsibility for end to end testing.
  • In some cases the Business Analyst also executes test cases and directly ensures system integrity.
  • The management of the normalization period - defect management and communication to the operational team
  • The Business Analyst is also involved in reviewing key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, and design documentation, as well as the business’s implementation and conversion strategies and plans.
  • Contributing to the project planning and administration.
  • The Business Analyst assists in developing the project charter documentation, business requirements documentation, solution design reviews, process documentation, test plan and test case creation.
  • In addition, the Business Analyst helps co-ordinate the project by arranging project meetings, resolution of roadblocks, following up on issues and sign-offs, producing status documentation and informing team members of decisions made.
  • Working with solution architects, delivery directors and senior management to define strategy and requirements, identifying and securing commitment from teams across the company for new initiatives, driving consensus on the technical approach
  • Setting timelines, and leading cross-functional development teams from design through delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent)

· Technical Analyst or Business Management experience in an enterprise-related program or applications environment (or equivalent)

· Knowledge of programming concepts and software development lifecycle

· Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies

· People management, effective communication and presentation skills

· Author System Requirement Specifications, Design conceptual solutions and gather requirements from stakeholders, organize testing calls, interact with developers and deployment engineers.

· Ability to analyze business requirements, write specifications, scope technical requirements, manage multiple software development efforts, drive rigorous testing, and coordinate project launch.

· Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to negotiate and assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and resolve blocking issues.

· Demonstrated passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust technical solutions

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Experience building solutions in distributed systems and/or developing large scale enterprise applications

· Experience analyzing user experience design and developing high profile customer facing platforms with intricate self-serve workflows.

· Experience with agile/iterative development and program management methodologies

· Exceptional stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.

· Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Soap UI, Postman, SQL and Data Visualization tools (Tableau, SSRS, Kibana)

· Knowledge of IBM Application Suite (WAS, BPM, MDM, MQ) is a nice to have

· Industry knowledge of popular open source platforms such as Kafka, Elastic, Docker/Kubernetes, AI/ML tools
