Next Tier Security Inc. is a newly operational security company that focuses on the protection of individuals and property with a primary focus on vulnerable populations and staff that work with them.

Job description

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry when needed.

• Ensuring that property is presentable by conducting regular rounds, collecting debris, minor repairs, snow clearing, etc.

• Deescalating altercations between clientele; ability to be patient and assertive.

• Obtains help by engaging with other employees and appropriate law enforcement.

• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

• Controls traffic and parking by directing drivers as needed on premises.

• Completes reports and/or takes notes by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

• Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; conducting minor repairs;

• Ability to work effectively and compassionately both as a team member and independently.

• Ability to serve vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homeless, substance use disorder, and mental health issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Regularly sanitizing commonly touched surfaces and access to personal protective equipment.
