Job Summary:

AlfaDefence Security is seeking a professional, reliable, and highly vigilant Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and strong conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage.
• Operate and maintain security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Produce daily activity reports, incident reports, and other documentation as required.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Enforce property and safety rules while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of security experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.

Job Types: Seasonal, Casual, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $14.60-$21.94 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 44 per week

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
