Description

We are seeking driven individuals who are passionate about growing their careers as a Sales Assistant. If you a driven individual, this work opportunity may be just what you’ve been searching for. Offered through Robert Half, this Sales Assistant position will be a long-term contract / contract / temporary opportunity based in the Richmond Hill, Ontario area.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining kindness and professionalism while interacting with customers to provide superior customer service
• Coordinating courses and training internal employees
• Assisting in coordinating orders to ensure completion of process
• Supporting and participating in trade shows and conventions
• Drafting correspondence and proofreading documents
• Producing sales reports and presentations
• Making arrangements related to travel and meetings
• Providing all other Sales Assistant-related duties as needed
• Providing administrative, technical and clerical support to sales teams
• Facilitating the promotion of company products and services
  

Requirements

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
• 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience suggested
• BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field suggested
• Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Interpret Engineering Drawings experience
• Adeptness in Written Communication
• Manufacturing experience
• Practical knowledge of Coordinate Logistics
• General familiarity with Tradeshows
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Prepare Meeting Materials experience highly preferred
• CRM experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP
• Background working with sales analysis & reporting
• Prior experience coordinating projects, utilizing strong social skills, and working well with all levels of personnel and outside clients and vendors
