Objective:

To achieve the highest quality of cleanliness & maintenance for the hotel by directing and coordinating the Housekeeping & Maintenance operation in accordance with the hotel standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Good communication & organization skill
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Provides a clean, well maintained hotel by supervising the Laundry, Janitorial, Housekeeping & Maintenance operations.
  • Schedules housekeeping associates in accordance with forecasted occupancy adjusts staffing as necessary for sudden changes in occupancy.
  • Coordinates availability of rooms with front desk
  • Supervises the daily activities of the staff.
  • Conducts continual inspections to determine hotel’s overall level of cleanliness & maintenance performs follow up.
  • Secures keys in accordance with hotel’s key management policy.
  • Takes corrective action where required to improve safety of work areas.
  • Orients and trains associates.
  • Maintains safe working condition within the department and hotel by ensuring that all employees follow safety rules and procedures.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience.
  • Good communication & organization skill.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to prioritize with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Must be available weekends.
