We are currently growing our In-House Food Service model and are increasing our support network for our Chef Managers and Village Managers at a site level. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, your focus will be on championing and supporting our food and catering provision creating consistency and the best possible dining experience for our residents and visitors across the Central Region.

As a Result You Will

• Provide effective training and induction programmes
• Be a food specialist promoting enhanced expertise and competency
• Providing best practice kitchen and menu process and delivery
• Improve standardisation in service delivery of kitchen practices across villages within your region
  

You will ideally have previous experience working in food safety, hospitality businesses with multiple outlets and managing stakeholders to ensure they deliver on expectations. There is a significant amount of administration associated with this role including managing menus for our in-house food model, processing invoices, managing complaints, monitoring and analysing financial performance and providing regular reporting to internal stakeholders. In addition, you will be a great communicator who can build effective working relationships at all levels

This is a Hamilton based role and will involve travel across the region. This role also comes with a laptop, mobile phone and company car. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work permit.
