PRODUCTION OPERATORS - 2nd Shift

United Rotary Brush is a manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping industries and plow blades. Our Barrie, Ontariomanufacturing facility is looking for Production Operatorsfor the following shift. Our positions are a great fit for those individuals that take pride in the work to produce quality products for our customers.   • $1,000 available in Bonuses

Shift Available

2nd shift * Monday – Thursday 5:45 pm – 4:15 am

PRODUCTION OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY
Participate in line setup and production of high-volume brushes and brooms. Ensure machines are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines and perform light maintenance and cleaning.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company polices.
  • Produce, package, and label all products to quality and manufacturing specifications at required production rates.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR Education and Skills:
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent work experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of production procedures with ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Ability and judgement to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees.
  • Regular attendance and the ability to be at work regularly and on time is essential.

  • Note: A$500.00 retention bonuswill be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain3 monthsof continuous employment with United Rotary Brush in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain6 monthsof continuous employment in their current qualified position will receiveanother $500.00 bonus. The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. Details of this program will be discussed at time of hire.
