The Procurement and Pricing Traineewill take you on a trip through one of our Profit Centers teaching you about every aspect of the business from shipping and receiving, to and sales, to operational excellence. This highly involved procurement role will put you face to face with contractors and vendors in both the Refrigeration and HVAC markets where you will learn the products, systems, and technical requirements of building management systems.

Responsibilities And Duties

Through the development program you will move through 4 phases of development and learning:

• Warehouse Logistics: Learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand the role of sales support.
• Counter Sales and Operations: Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more…
• Procurement: Once proven competence from previous stages, we will advance you to start of your development journey to become our lead purchaser. While working side-by-side the Profit Center Manager, this process will have you learn the different proactive strategies to help you flourish in your newly found career!
• Pricing: Once your comfort level in your new position has been established; you will work with the leadership team in BC to help design, maintain, and sustain our pricing structure within our model.

Qualifications and Skills

• Post-Secondary Education
• Not afraid to "get your hands dirty"
• Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
• Work well in a team based environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with computers and the internet
• Valid Driver’s license with clean abstract
