Job Purpose:

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Vendor pont of sale reports, to be able to maintain and assess rebates and vendor program benefits and coordinate with administration to ensure changes to existing programs are implemented. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to work independently, and have an extensive background in pricing analytical tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business goals and profitability targets.
• Coordinating and collaborating with sales teams nationally, with regards to active or net new opportunities and registering them where applicable with partnering vendors.
• Analyzing deal opportunities in the CRM funnel, and collaborating with proposal teams to ensure deals are won.
• Maintaining an active catalogue of vendor programs and contracts.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of pricing strategies
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers, facilitating backend rebates and credits.
• Application of claims credits to sales orders for commission payments.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed to support pricing and business decisions
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role required.
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or another relevant program preferred.
• Experience working with data extraction utilities, data mapping, and web query tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Pivot Table, Data Validation, FTP utilities.
• Experience with various Vendor contacts and Pricing structures: HP, IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, etc.
• Knowledge & experience of Systems approach, Business Analysis, defining User Requirements.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Proactive self-starter, able to work with a variety of tasks under minimal supervision.
• Work well in a team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Analytical skill, ability to troubleshoot, and problem solve.
• Excellent communication skills; willingness to question and probing for more details.
• Exceptional customer service skills with strong client focused approach.
• Staff is responsible to follow ISO procedures outlined in Compugens Quality Management System. All staff may be required to take ISO auditor training and provide auditing services in support of the ISO quality process for the department.
