The Academy for Mathematics and English- Tower Hill Learning Centre is looking to extend its staff. We are looking for somebody who can do:

• IN PERSON tutoring at our Learning Center - in North Richmond Hill -126 Tower Hill Road, Richmond Hill, ON L4E0K6.
• Mathematics, Highschool level: Gr.6-Gr.12
• English: Gr.1-Gr.12
• Priority given to individuals with at least three weekdays + Saturday availability.
• We tutor Monday through Friday from 3:45PM to 8:30 PM, and Saturday as well from 11:00AM to 4:00PM
• Prospective tutors have to be proficient with the Ontario curriculum, and be able to conduct a comprehensive class in all aspects.
• Priority given to those candidates who attended high school in Ontario.
• Individuals who show true dedication and keen interest could be hired for full time positions, based on performance assessment.
• It is very important to show up on time for classes, so, successful candidates will either reside in Richmond Hill region or have their own transportation to the Tower Hill Plaza. Public transportation is not reliable.
• Multitasking and classroom management a definitive asset.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate shall posses a Canadian/Ontario Teacher Certification or a Bachelor degree relevant to this position.

Priority will be given to individuals whose first language is English, or French.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
