Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain legal documents, files, and records
- Organize and Attend meetings and take part in settlement conferences if needed
- Transcribe dictations and prepare legal correspondence and documents
- Answer phone calls and email inquiries with professionalism and excellent etiquettes
- Assist with proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information in document management systems
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents

Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
