We are currently hiring a Material Handler/ Order Picker on behalf of our client. in Dartmouth NS. This is a temporary to permanent role and is starting almost immediately.

Job Title: Material Handler

Salary: $18.46/hour , inclusive of 4% vacation pay

Schedule: Sunday 3 PM till 11:30 PM Monday to Thursday 4 PM to 12:30 AM

Location: Burnside

Responsibilities
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock;
  • Recording location of inventory.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Adhere and follow all Health and Safety & COVID regulations and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times

Qualifications
  • Experience with RF gun
  • Preferred 1 year experience as a shipper/receiver and/or Material Handler
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Steel toe/safety shoes required
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear Criminal Background
