Mega Rebar, a newly established rebar fabricator and distributor located in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits. Our brand new facility/office is designed to support a collaborative and productive work environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the office and management team, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
Document Management: Organize and maintain office documents, records, and filing systems. Ensure documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members. Maintain office calendars and schedules.
Customer Service: Assist in providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships.
Inventory Management: Monitor and track office supplies, order replacements as needed, and maintain inventory records.
Data Entry: Accurate data entry and record-keeping, including financial transactions and invoices.
Communication: Act as a liaison between internal departments and external partners. Ensure clear and timely communication.
Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ensuring a professional and efficient workspace.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Sage 50 experience would be an asset.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous administrative or office support experience is preferred but not required.
Good understanding of customer service for both internal and external customers.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years related experience.
