As our business grows, Cabco is seeking a self-motivated, results-driven individual to identify opportunities and grow our New Brunswick and PEI footprint. You have a reputation for being reliable, customer–focused and approach your daily work in an efficient, highly organized manner.

As a New Business Development Manager, your role will entail finding ways to directly fulfill our mission and help our customers use technology to build connections that matter. Reporting to the CEO, the New Business Development Manager serves as a primary representative for Cabco in a developing territory. The New Business Development Manager will plan, develop and coordinate sales activities to develop new market opportunities for the sale of technology solutions.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Sales prospecting for commercial technology solutions, including structured cabling, wifi, premise security and telephony.

· Developing and coordinating sales activities to identify new market opportunities.

· Develop new accounts through active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal networking and initiatives.

· Preparing and presenting quotes in association with divisional leaders.

· Relationship building and management of key customers

· Sales reporting and analysis

· Community participation, including representing Cabco at industry events

Skills:

· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, customer service, communication (both verbal and written), time management and organizational skills

· Must be able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision

· You are detail oriented with solid time management skills

· You are process oriented; you can work a territory, servicing customers while following established sales processes

· You have the energy, motivation and confidence to engage in prospecting activities

· You are ambitious and driven, constantly striving to improve and be the best you can be

· You are technologically savvy with Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and adapt quickly to new technology

· Must be able to meet deadlines competently and timely, even under pressure.

Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience

· Experience in a sales-focused role needed, with an IT background an asset

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Process oriented, with a track record of professional achievements, and a keen attention to detail

· A passion for technology sales and willingness to learn new product offerings

· Ability to meet timelines and objectives in a competitive environment

· French/English bilingual an asset

· Valid driver’s license
