Mine Production Supervisor - Rocanville - SK - CA

What You Will Do

• Supervise performance, provide mentoring, and guide approximately 30 hourly mine shift operators
• Provide safety guidance and ensure compliance with all safety and work space rules and procedures
• Close interaction with the Maintenance, Planning and Engineering Departments to safely and efficiently utilized available resources to meet daily production goals.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Grade 12 or equivalent required
• 5 years potash mining experience and/or Saskatchewan underground supervisor certification required
• Mine Operations (potash) experience preferred
• Supervisory experience in a unionized environment preferred
• Demonstrated guidance and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire; educate and mentor
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Computer proficiency
• Mine Rescue certification, and involvement in OH&S and exposure based safety programs are assets
