Our client, a leader in the Automation industry, is looking for a Mechanical Technologist to join their team on a long term basis in the Hamilton area.

• Description:* This individual will be supporting:
• Testing, troubleshooting, prototyping, and working with the design engineers for custom projects for clients. (Machinery and Parts)
• Identifying critical parts, working with BOM’s (providing feedback to engineers on materials)
• Reading and Providing input for mechanical drawings
• Troubleshooting and Testing prototypes
• Working with design engineers for re-design by providing feedback
• Testing functionality of new components and machinery
• Commissioning New Equipment
• Supporting the continuous improvement initiatives for R&D projects.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
• MUST HAVE:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• MUST HAVE:
• Mechanical aptitude
• MUST HAVE:
• Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical components
• MUST HAVE:
• Mechanical technologist or technology diploma
