We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will involve working very closely with the existing marketing staff, the VP of Sales and Marketing, Director of Communications and the Executive team. You will be expected to utilize your creative talents, along with your in-depth knowledge of graphic design, layout, desktop publishing, and web-design in the creation of direct mail and email campaigns and the maintenance of Login Canada’s website. This is a term position (14-16 months) with potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate will also possess the skills to provide administrative support, including production of sales and marketing reports, scheduling, meeting co-ordination, fundraising and related marketing activities. A love of books is an asset.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Communications to create production schedule for marketing materials
- Design and layout marketing brochures and execute Direct Mail campaigns
- Maintain/build relationship with publishing partners to gather co-op funding for marketing
- Creating and managing the printing of marketing materials in-house and communicating with vendors
- Coordinating preparation (including collation and distribution) of marketing materials.
- Maintain detailed records/archives of marketing projects, schedules, co-op funds, etc.
- Creation & execution of regular communications regarding Marketing & Sales promotions to staff and publishers.
- Creating and executing email campaigns for multiple customer channels
- Creating and executing social media campaigns
- Assist in maintaining the company website
- Assist in producing internal reports on marketing projects
- Assist in the preparation of sales meetings or other special events
- Preparing responses to requests for information obtained via web site, advertisements, tradeshows and other sources.
- Working with account managers to assure they have a current and up-to-date supply of marketing literature.
- Preparing packages when required for direct bids or for presentation at publisher meetings.
- Managing our sales and marketing publisher/customer database, ensuring the data is accurate and comprehensive.
Skilled Qualifications
- College diploma in graphic design or web design or 2 years related experience
- Experienced with Adobe Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent English language, grammar skills (Knowledge of French an asset)
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Experience with budgets and forecasting
- Knowledge of eBooks and the ability to assist in technical call regarding eBooks.
