• MT Canada is a division of Eternity Systems, a global leader in the sanitization of reusable crates for the food industry.
• Summary:

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventive, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. You will work within a small team reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Core Competencies:

• To ensure the good execution of the maintenance activities in all aspects at the Guelph facility to assure productivity of wash quality.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Implementation of maintenance processes to maintain proper equipment and machinery functionality as well as cost-efficiency
• Support all current equipment and new machinery and process introductions.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs

Requirements

Millwright or Apprenticeship

Manufacturing experience; electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills.

Salary: $28.00-$36.00 per hour

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
