• Benefits including pension when hired after the probationary period - you will be a Plastic Technician with increase to $23.26 pay rate increase

Responsibilities

• Assembly work of components and subassemblies

• Reading of blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, tools, and materials

• Verifies specifications by measuring the completed component

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Ensure work area (machine sets or assembly area) is operating efficiently and producing quality product. When working in assembly, ensure quality product is produced per established rate. Complete assembly requirements for per job

• Cutting, clipping, trimming, visual checking, counting, assembling and packaging parts

• Conducting quality checks and lot traces

• Maintain established safety, quality and productivity standards

Machinery/Equipment Used:

• Knives, clippers (hand and floor), scales, tape machines (hand and floor) stamp, grinders, paging system, bagging machines, bar code machine, jigs, fixtures, conveyors, etc

• Personal protective equipment as required

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 High school Diploma

• Must be shift flexible and willing to learn and grow with the company

• Manufacturing Experience, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Mechanical Aptitude, Quality Focus, Power Tools
