Line Cook Expectations
  • Prepare basic components of dishes using recipes created by our Executive Chef, including washing, chopping, cutting, weighing, and mixing ingredients and garnishing finished dishes.
  • Utilize set portion sizes and basic meal preparation procedures.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line.
  • Ensure dishes are timed correctly for quality controls.
  • Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
Line Cook Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of kitchen experience
  • Good knowledge of kitchen terminology
  • Top notch communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Team player--must be able to take direction and work well with others
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • ServSafe certification a plus
Line Cook Benefits
  • $16-$17/hr
